About Council
Council is an independent product built and run by Pavel Smolin, a software engineer based in Warsaw.
Why it exists
One AI model gives you one answer, and it can sound just as sure when it is wrong. For a small question that is fine. For a job offer, a lease, a medical worry or a big purchase, one opinion is not enough.
People already solve this by hand: they paste the same question into ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini and compare the answers in three tabs. Council does that properly, in one place, and tells you where the models agree and where they do not.
How answers are produced
Your question goes to several models from different labs at the same time. Each one answers on its own and never sees the others, so one model's mistake cannot steer the rest.
When the question depends on current facts, Council first searches the web and every model reads the same dated briefing, with the sources shown.
A synthesizer model then reads every answer, scores how much they agree, names the points where they split and writes one verdict with a clear pick. The individual answers stay on the page, so you can check its work.
What happens to your questions
Your question is sent to the AI providers on your council so they can answer it. Every result gets its own page with a link you can share.
Some results can be listed in search so others with the same question can find them. Personal and health questions, questions with a document attached and follow-ups are kept out of search, and Pro results are never listed. A Pro owner can also lock a result so its link opens only for them.
